Hello! How are you doing?

Finally! Yesterday I launched the Shopify App Growth Blueprint.

It’s something I wanted to release for a long time and it’s now there!

Many, many, many of you already took it so I am really excited to get your feedback!

If you haven’t taken it yet, you can still do this, the 10% discount is still available this week 👇

The Shopify App Growth Blueprint

Everything you need to learn how to grow a Shopify App from $0 to a successful EXIT.

In today’s email we’re going to talk about:

  • The launch of the Blueprint

  • Noah sold his Shopify App for $35M

  • Ask for a review directly from your app

Let’s go! 🔥

The launch of the Blueprint

I created a guide to help Shopify App Founders grow their Shopify App. And I launched it yesterday.

In less than 24 hours, dozens of founders took it and I already started to receive the 1st feedback.

Many partners in the ecosystem shared the launch and I’m so grateful for it!

If you’re still hesitating, remember there is a 14-day guarantee. If you didn’t get any value from the Blueprint, you can request a fund

Noah sold his Shopify App for $35M

Yes! You read it right! 😱

I interviewed Noah for this newsletter a few months ago. Noah founded the Shopify App “Social Snowball”

And he recently announced on Twitter that his app has been acquired for $35M!

But when you look at the app listing you may think “This is an app that has only 178 reviews with a 4.8/5 rating”

The advantage his app has that most apps don’t have is the scalability. Users can pay more and more.

The monthly plan starts at $199 per month. So one user for Noah is 10 users for many of you.

But not only does he take $199, he also takes 3% of the revenue generated by Social Snowball.

Something most merchants don’t accept. But the ones who accept will bring all your revenue and that’s why you can scale with a merchant.

You can have only 10 merchants and make more and more money each month if your merchants get more orders. That’s why it’s powerful.

How can you, in your current pricing, scale your revenue without acquiring more users?

That’s what you have to ask yourself. Because this is really important. Pricing can literally help you grow your business.

Ask for a review directly from your app

Shopify had announced it. It’s now possible!

You can ask your users to leave a review DIRECTLY from your dashboard. You can trigger the popup easily.

  • The popup won’t appear if they’re not eligible

  • The popup won’t appear if they already left a review

Here is how I’ll first implement it:

  1. Customer support will have access to a button in their WideBundle admin panel

  2. This button will trigger the popup

They’ll trigger it right after helping a user, instead of asking for a review, which will be way better!

It will need to be tested though!

Thanks for reading!

I’ll see you in the next email, in 14 days. Until then, take care!

Mat.
