Hi there, I hope youāre doing well and your app is growing.
Another email for you, I wish you a good read!
In todayās email weāre going to talk about:

Grow your Shopify App from $0 MRR to a 7-figure EXIT

If you want to get the whole theory on how to grow a successful Shopify App from $0 MRR to a 7-figure EXIT, grab the Shopify App Growth Blueprint.
My new ambitions
There are so many things I want to build in the Shopify App ecosystem.
Because I still believe we are at the beginning.
And it is not just about creating another app.
It is about helping Shopify App owners build stronger, faster, and smarter.
For example, one idea I keep thinking about is support training, helping teams improve the way they talk to users and collect more reviews.
Another one is a platform that helps app founders find partners easily.
Because the growth of Shopify created a real blue ocean.
So many opportunities.
So many things that still do not exist.
And I want to explore all of them.
Of course, I cannot do everything alone.
If I try, I will end up doing everything halfway, and that is not the goal.
So maybe 2026 will be the year I start building these new projects with the right people.
Here is what I have in mind:
Agencies for apps
Helping founders scale growth, support, and analytics.
Platforms
Tools to find partners or buy and sell apps easily.
Communities
Wide Event, the Shopify App Founders group, masterminds, and private meetups.
Buying apps
Taking what already works and making it grow faster.
Content
More videos, more trainings, more courses.
I have been building Shopify apps for more than five years.
I have been creating content for four.
And maybe now it is time to go bigger.
Not by changing direction, but by multiplying impact.
Maybe 2026 will be the year of change.
Letās see.
Results for Black Friday
Fifth Black Friday for my Shopify App and the same pattern happens:
More installs right before it. For an app that does bundles it makes sense: Merchants create bundles sometimes just for Black Friday.
But results are most of the time incredibly higher than what we use to have which creates a fake belief: that youāre growing like crazy
And then the truth hits: in December, installs start to decrease: Black Friday is over and merchants are going slowly because there will be Christmas, etc. They are just waiting for 2026 to start again.
Itās funny how, in 5 years, the exact same patterns repeat.
How is it going for your app? Perhaps you can reply to this email and tell me your appās category and if you received more installs, fewer, or if nothing changed.
Get reviews 75% of the time
I analyzed support conversations that consistently received 5-star reviews.
And compared them with conversations from other support team members that didnāt get any.
Today, Iām giving you the process that gets almost 75% reviews from conversations (that ended with you fixing an issue)
If you want reviews, stop thinking like a marketer.
People donāt leave reviews because you asked.
They leave reviews because they felt something.
They went from frustration to relief. From āthis app is brokenā to āyou saved me.ā
And you were the one who made that transformation happen.
That emotional shift is the key.
Hereās exactly how to build a system that gets reviews 75% of the time.
1. Take ownership immediately
Every review starts with fast, confident ownership.
You donāt say āmaybeā or ālet me check later.ā You say:
āOkay Iām checking.ā
āWeāll fix it asap.ā
āIām already on it.ā
